Prerequisite

Following are the prerequisites for working with Flow Creator:

Update Sequence

To update your Industrial Edge system when a new version has been released, you must update the following components in the given sequence:

1. Update the IEM-OS
2. Update the Industrial Edge Management App
3. Update IEM Services
4. Update Edge Devices
5. Update Configurators
6. Update System and other apps

Note The Flow Creator Configurator is the same for Flow Creator and Flow Creator(arm64). The current version of Flow Creator(arm64) is compatible with ARM SCALANCE LPE devices.
All the screenshots in the document are valid only for Flow Creator.
There is no change in the functionality of the run time application of Flow Creator and Flow Creator(arm64) except for the prepackaged nodes. The prepackaged nodes are not provided as a part of the Flow Creator(arm64) application but can be installed from the configurator.

Latest Flow Creator application must be installed in Industrial Edge Device (IED).
